You may have seen the rendering of this project in Hot Rod Magazine, Popular Hot Rodding, or Mustangs and Fords in 2007. This soon to be restored 1967 Ford Custom 500 will have the classic factory sleeper look.
Where you'd expect to find a big block FE engine there'll be a new Ford Racing Boss block based, Schwartz Extreme Performance built twin turbo 302 with their latest Z Series aluminum heads, which of course, we've massaged.
The excellent stock, fully boxed, 3 link equipped, perimeter chassis, which dominated Nascar racing when it debuted in 1965 will have some key Schwartz Extreme Performance Chassis mods to assure it handles like a slot car.
The body and interior will remain mostly stock with minimal mods. Paint color, not represented well on the computer, is 2004 Ford Dark Teal.

Expect to see this car on the road in 2008.
