Cutlass LSX 455
We took this restored 1971 Cutlass Supreme SX and transformed it into "Cutlass LSX 455". With a complete Schwartz tubular chassis, power rack and pinion steering, QA1 coil overs, Winters 9" aluminum housing with Moser 3rd member, Baer 6 piston monoblock 6s calipers clamping 14" rotors, Forgeline modular 18x9 and 19x12.5 wheels, and a Schwartz stroked 455 cubic inch dry sump LS7 Z06 engine using the original Oldsmobile 455 bore and stroke. It has custom Wiseco forged pistons, Lunati camshaft ground to our specs making 600 hp, mated to a Viper T56 six speed. It's riding on Michelin Pilot Sports, 255/35x18 and 345/30x19's
A feature story on this completed car is in the September 2009 issue of Popular Hot Rodding Magazine.
