1955 Chevy Bel Air LS7

This beautiful 1955 Chevy Bel Air came in for a nearly complete redo. We're swapping its mild 5.3L LS engine & 700R4 transmission for a beefier 600+ horsepower LS7 dry sump engine; customizing the interior; building a custom roll bar; and upgrading the rollers and stoppers!

Frame & Suspension

  • Stock chassis with 4 link conversion, coilovers, and tubular control arms
  • Power steering rack
  • Baer Brakes 14" Pro Plus 6 piston brake system front & rear
  • Ford 9 inch rear end

Engine

  • Schwartz Performance-modified LS7. Custom grind camshaft, ARP connecting rod bolts, upgraded dual valve springs
  • GM Performance ECU / wiring harness
  • ATS/Speedtech dry sump pan
  • Schwartz billet serpentine drive w/170a alternator, power steering pump, ATI balancer
  • Katech carbon fiber valve covers

Drivetrain

  • Upgraded GM 4L80E & torque converter by Advantage Transmission, Woodstock, IL
  • US Shift electronic transmission controller
  • Custom steel driveshaft

Wheels & Tires

  • Billet Specialties Bonneville G wheels
  • 18x9" front, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires
  • 18x12" rear, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires

  • Custom core support cover & billet hood latch system
