Jeff hit the road & headed West to hit 2 Goodguys events to compete in their autocross competitions. Our 1949 Chevy Pickup and our 1965 Pontiac Tempest were
The first stop was Scottsdale, AZ. Jeff & the ’49 Chevy pickup took home 1st place in the Truck class, edging out Craig Morrison’s 1950 Chevy pickup.
Our 1965 Pontiac Tempest took 2nd place in the Street Machine class.
 

Both of these test vehicles are equipped with our infamous Schwartz G-Machine Chassis, big brakes, and BFG tires.
 

 

The next stop was to Del Mar, CA. Since Jeff won the Truck class the previous week, Goodguys placed him [as a driver] in the Pro class. The ’65 Tempest ended up 4th overall in the Pro class, while the truck wasn’t too far behind.
